AfterThoughts: The Teenage Years - Wrap Up

Episode Summary

Every day 34 people in their 20s and 30s are diagnosed with cancer. In Series 1 of AfterThoughts, we heard some of their stories. But for Series 2, we’re going younger. Seven people aged 13-24 are diagnosed every day. These are their stories. This is AfterThoughts. Join Toby and Alice as they look back on some of the incredible stories from Series 4!

Episode Notes

AfterThoughts was created to make visible some of the invisible cancer stories from within the young cancer community.

This time, Toby and Alice look back over series four to pull out some of their favourite stories from each of the storytellers on each of our themes. They managed to agree on the best bits of what has been a remarkable series. AfterThoughts: The Teenage Years is always special and Series Four has been full of incredible tales from some brilliant storytellers, and if you haven't listened to each of the full episodes yet, you definitely should. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll feel...dare we say it...inspired...and you'll feel less alone.

Thanks to our amazing storytellers for making this series everything it is: Natalie, Aiden, Freddie, Shaumya, Kaleb, Tegan and Phoebe - you're legends.
